I know today is a sad day and believe me when I tell you that I grieve along with you. But it has always been my belief that in times of sadness there is no better cure than drawing on a bit of joy and frivolity. So I hope you'll indulge me in the post I originally planned for today. My friend LAW, had a great bible verse on her blog this morning and that I've re-read at least 10 times today.
"So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace..." 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18 (MSG)

ReplyDeleteLOoooOOooOooooOOoove Philadelphia Story :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteThe Philadelphia Story is My Movie. I have loved it since I was a little girl and I was a gawky tomboy who rode horses - then my sympathetic grandmother showed me the movie and I just was over the moon for it! Every Christmas I normally get another classic flick. Two years ago it was Bringing Up Baby and last year it was Adam's Rib, so clearly I am in good company!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks.
